The J-Drama fever!

I am so hooked!

If I had known that J-Dramas were this awesome, I would have jumped into it a long time ago.

The actors are cool, and the storyline is quite refreshing.

Just watched Hana Kimi (2007) and Bloody Monday, both manga adaptations and I seriously recommend them

For those who love suspense and action with high octane thrills and computer hackers, I recommend Bloody Monday. Adapted from a popular manga series, this J-Drama captures the nuances of the story quite effectively and keeps the viewers on their toes till the end.

Haruma Miura and Takeru Sato bring the protagonists to life. The story revolves around how a genius hacker named Fujumaru Takagi (Miura) helps the Japanese police to thwart the attempts of biological assault by an international terrorist organisation.

Hana Kimi is a popular shojo manga which revolves around Mizuki Ashiya, a girl who disguises herself as a boy and enters the all-boys Ohsaka Gakuen in order to make her idol Izumi Sano high jump again. Hiding her identity is a tough task which results in hilarious situations that culminate with friendship, love, passion and acceptance. There are many live action adaptations of this manga but my personal favourite is the 2007 Japanese version.

Apart from the main characters, the show is replete with good-looking boys plus a fantastic story. Now if this is not a killer combo, I wonder what is!
